The campaign is making good progress !!! … A BIG thanks to all the people who have generously supported the project so far!  I’ve been having fun running around to gigs and open mics talking to folks about the project and feeling engaged and inspired. I got to stop in at the HopMonk Novato Wednesday night hosted by the wonderful Dennis Heneda. There was a steady stream of sets by some amazing musicians…and I got to play 2 new songs that will be on the upcoming album (“Love It Up” and “Space & Time”) to an energetic crowd hooting and hollering along in encouragement. If you want to contribute to the project there is still time!

Fundraiser Launch Party At Peri’s 5/26/13

Big thanks to everyone who made the night at Peri’s Bar super sweet.  We transformed the stage into a folkie chill space, and there was a great turn out!  The fun favorite of the night: “Kiss” cover on Baritone Ukulele! (forgive me Prince, wherever you are) “You don’t have to be rich, to be my man…you don’t have to be cool….to understand…”

My heart feels full and filled with love and excitement about the project and the new music getting out into the world…Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped to get the word out about the project! I feel the momentum building and am thankful for every small thing.

Album Fundraiser Launched!

After many months of work, I am proud to announce my album pre-order/fundraiser campaign is live on Indiegogo!  I am excited to reach out to you — my beloved tribe —  to share my enthusiasm and vision for this upcoming album project.

This summer I will be recording ten brand new original songs on guitar, baritone ukulele, piano and B-tar (custom made 4-stringed instrument) written over the last two years. I will be collaborating with engineer/ bassist Ben Bernstein (Courtney Janes, JL Stiles) at The Petting Zoo in Oakland, CA and a team of awesome local musicians to help me bring these new songs to life! Musicians include Ben Hulan (Courtney Janes) on mandolin, Mike Stevens (Red House Painters, Cyndi Harvell) on drums, Max Delaney (Elliot Randall, Jeff Campell) on guitar, Sharon Drake on violin (El Radio Fantastique), and more! The album will be released Sept. 2013!

I will be posting videos of the new songs as we go along, as well as periodic updates on the campaign! I will also be playing a series of shows during this time, I would love to see you out!
