I am a road warrior….enveloped now by the thick, quiet mystery of the redwoods in Humboldt….Stopping in Arcata in search of an open mic. Only one is a women’s night – “Menstrual Mondays,” the other is canceled, so we press on into the night to get as much driving done before the drive to Portland tomorrow.
